East Grand Fire Protection District #4 presented Ron “ROTTEN” Richards of Intrawest Winter Park Resort with a certificate of appreciation for allowing employees Cory Griess and Dave Hagerman to participate as Volunteer Firefighters. If you are interested in becoming a Volunteer the Training Academy is coming up in October. You can get your application at East Grand Fire Headquarters or on our web site at www.eastgrandfire.com. The application must be completed in advance of the start of classes. Contact Captain John Cavera if you have questions.

Parade
EGFD had their Ladder Engine 491 and Grand Fire's 330 flying a 30 x
50 Flag over Hwy 40. Then there was a parade with Engines 481 482 492 in it and
over 750 motorcycles in a procession from Silvercreek to Winter Park on Saturday, August 18, 2007
